Lethal Encounter Training and Tactics

About Us

THE COMPANY:

Lethal Encounter Training and Tactics (LETT) is a Law Enforcement Officer (LEO) and Veteran owned small business. We are also proud to employ wounded LEO’s and Veterans as instructors. Other instructors include the very best from the local Law Enforcement Special Operations community, competitive shooting experts, and young Patriotic citizens. We believe at LETT shooting skills are PERISHABLE! Maintaining your proficiency in any physical skill requires practice, especially personal defense shooting skills.

Dave Randazzo, LETT owner/operator, has over 35 years of combined LEO and military experience as well as training others in firearms and tactics. Most of those years were spent with Special Operations Units. Dave also conducted fire rescue and paramedic operations. Dave has numerous NRA and LEO firearms certifications allowing the company to train both the armed citizen and LEO’s. All LETT instructors are NRA and Law Enforcement Agency (LEA) certified. Dave ensures LETT leads the way in having the best firearms liability insurance.

Our other instructors will be introduced and outlined as the upcoming 2017 training season gets closer on this website. WE ARE PROUD TO PARTNER WITH ALTRA FIREARMS FOR 2017!

OUR MINDSET:

Safety in training is our NUMBER ONE PRIORITY at LETT! We never sacrifice any standards as it relates to the safety of our students. Each class will begin with an extensive range safety briefing ensuring every student is aware of the training schedule for the day, especially live fire procedures.

Once safety is established for the training day, we immediately start the transfer of a “proper mindset” to the student. We do this so that the student adopts a mindset to be more aware of their firearms, their surroundings, and to develop the confidence to conduct live fire drills on the range. After completion of training, the student will take this mindset and confidence into their daily world and be able to react to a bad situation when it occurs.

TRAINING METHODOLOGY:

Our training philosophy is simple: DO THE LITTLE THINGS RIGHT! We do this by stressing the basic fundamentals of marksmanship from the start and keep building on the basics even in advanced courses. Students at all skill levels will benefit from our no-nonsense, hands-on approach to training. Our training will establish the fundamental skills which prepare students to confidently use their firearms in daily life or survive a deadly force incident. TRAIN, SUSTAIN, AND SURVIVE!
